if satriani or vai touched it its probably worth something. just dont let some shady buyer undercut you! find out more, like which one built it. the more info the better. i'd get it appraised too, dont go to like guitar center as ask what its worth ahah.

True. You might be able to get 1 Vic Firth stick in exchange, but also get ELEVEN FREE.

I don't know that much about guitars, but I would assume that if it was a one off handmade guitar made by one of those guys, it would definitely be worth quite a bit of money to some people.

Doesn't matter who you claim touched it or built it unless you've got that in writing somewhere. Basically it's worth only its weight until you can get some proof.
              tasty

I'm sure if it came down to it my mom could get in contact with him, she lived next door to Joe for 17 years.

I just talked to her, it was Joe Despagni who actually made it, Joe Satriani designed it and gave it to her.

I would consider it gold as long as its got proof on it somewhere. even if he designed it and there is no trace of him on it, then its probably worth just the value of parts, which sucks if thats the case, unless you can somehow get someone to believe you.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Tell you what, I got a guy who knows everything there is to know about guitars. Let me have him come down and see if he can tell us anything about it.
