    Official NCAA Football Thread 2009

    it starts today.

    sitting down to watch Oregon vs. Boise St. right now.

    The thing I love about college moreso than the NFL is that it's so unpredictable, and it feels like the players play more for the love of the game, rather than for money.

    I'm a Cal fan, and would love to see them topple the Trojans this year.

    That's exactly what I love about NCAA, the game is a lot more dynamic when players haven't reached the top yet.

    The same can't be said for lacrosse though, pro's have to love the game to be willing to play for $30,000 and still hold their regular jobs, plus they also make their own travel arrangements.

      Exactly, the game is just so much more interesting to watch since anything can happen.

      Same can be said for US soccer players, they don't make shit.

            UF fan looking to see if Gators could possibly do it again... (knocking on wood like mad). I saw ESPN's Tebow Promise parody and fell off the couch laughing.

            Sam Bradford scares the shit out of me. That man doesn't throw footballs, he calls in laser guided leather airstrikes.

              Colt McCoy is more accurate than bradford and Tebow - watch out for the university of houston this year, too. They are last year's Texas Tech.

              I'm picking Texas over Florida for the title.

                I must disagree about McCoy, but that's okay. :)

                I'd like to see Texas UF too. Shoulda been last year's game.

                I'd also like to see USC UF, just to see how good West Coast really is...

                      The Heisman will probably be pretty similar to last year, I can't really see any of those 3 QB's doing badly this season.
