I was a huge Michael Jordan fan, despite the fact that I was a Cavs fan. I watched every one of his playoff games when I was a kid. I'm so glad that I was old enough to witness that time period in basketball.

Oh man do I remember the '93 finals with the Suns Vs. Bulls. Bittersweet to say the least. But Jordan certainly was and still is one of the greats and definitely deserves a spot in the hall of fame.

Ninja Edit: Wonder how much my Michael Jordan basketball cards I have are worth.

I still hate him so much to this day, I was 8 and he made me cry over that game. I really wanted Barkley to get a ring, but I will say even as much I disliked this guy. HE IS THE BEST.

I was also eight at the time. But it's funny that I can remember the exact place I was when I watched John Paxson sink the game winning three in game 6. I was at my grandparents house in Idaho. I still miss the old Suns under the coaching of Paul Westphal.

I am a big NY Knicks fan, Jordan broke our hearts MANY times! But he is still the greatest to ever play basketball IMHO. The coolest thing, as a North Carolina State grad is David Thompson aka Skywalker is presenting his HOF induction speech.

I do too, I was at a neighbors house playing basketball while listening to the radio, had the tv outside to watch, and I started crying on the spot. Its the only time in my life aside from actual pain have I cried. Paul Westphal was the man!

Same here. The guy was the most fun to watch pro athlete I've ever seen. Never stopped amazing me. He would pull moves that were total contradictions to the natural laws of physics. I remember he would hold his tongue out his mouth on a hard drive to the net, just classic.
