    If they have a rechargeable battery then yes they are noise canceling. The regular OE and AE aren't noise canceling.

      Ordered the AKG k81DJ from Headroom. Should be here in a few day and Ill doo a little review after the break in. Probably do a recable on them soon after and upgrade to new earpads. Should be a sweet set of portable phones.

      as for why no inner ear stuff. I just hate it. My ears get all hot and hurt with anything in them like that for my than 20 minutes.

      In the future Ill probably get a nicer set of AKG/Grado/Beyer and build a nice amp for it.
