Help with the ipod again.

This is true. Microsoft fixed my console even though it was a year out of warrenty. Didn't charge me a cent for it. Just got a box in the mail, put my 360 in it, and mailed it back. Got it back in like a week and a half.

That was awesome, when they extended everyones warranty 3 years. Mine broke the day before, same story box in the mail everything. The lady asked me if I played online, told her yea, I get my Xbox back and there is a month subscription car to xbox live to make up for the time the console was away.

Yeah they have fixed 7 of mine. I am wondering when this one will go out.

Yes, those things are expensive as hell, and when you start to get issues and you cant get any support without throwing down some more cash on what is supposed to be a "simple" problem, I think is silly. I dont know why your getting so worked up about it, it was just my opinion. I thought you hated working there anyway.

Only advice I can really think of is to open it up in my computer, hit tools, folder options, view, show hidden folders, then click ok. You should see a folder that is grayed out saying something like ipod control, then click music. There should be something like 100 folders all named F01, F02 yada yada. All of your music will be stored in these, copy and paste them all to where ever you want.

I knew of this already, kinda shocked me when I opened the f___ folders and saw nothing.

use ephpod. run ephpod from your CP and copy all the music, pictures, videos, ect.

it will copy EVERYTHING off of it if you want it to

Let me know what you find out, i have the same problem and have never been able to fix it like most say is possible. And I refuse to just pay extra money to figure out how. Thanks.

I sold my 360 a long time ago cause I kept having friends with issues like these. Just picked up a new 120gb slim PS3 last week. Been playing GT5 Prologue like crazy. It was a no brainer considering it was only 300.00 for a 120gb PS3!!!

Yeah I think thats what I payed for my ps3. Socom is one of the best games for it.

What gen ipod is it? The older ones are known for battery issues. Also some have diagnostic modes built in, which will allow you to see what is malfunctioning.
