Phelps was insane the last Olympics. I'm not even remotely interested in competitive swimming but watching Phelps was epic. Every once in a while 1 person rolls around that, regardless of the sport, is so amazing that they redefine the sport and he has done that.

yeah, I wouldn't normally watch mens swimming either, but phelps was/is a phenom. Women's beach volleyball on the other hand, i can watch that all day... :)

I didn't watch Phelps win 9 medals because swimming really doesn't interest me at all. Honestly, it's nothing against it I just find it really boring.

Women's volleyball is always good but they're a little bit androgynous and again not all that interesting. I'm not going to set aside time to watch it, plus espn 8 or whatever usually has like college beach volleyball on every so often.
