for future reference. when you see a deer you cannot avoid, speed up. slamming on breaks obviously shifts momentum forward and lowers front end. exponentially increases chance for a human injury.

I was coming home from the lake a few days ago and a deer ran right into the side of my E30, Square with the passenger door while I was going about 45. Made me spin in the rain(happened on a long sweeping right). Was a giant buck and it then stumbled back to its feet and ran off.

A deer ran in front of me once and I swerved off the road and hit a sign post sideways.

so yesterday i was driving on the freeway, and i look to my right blind spot to see if i could get in the other lane, but there was this speeing suv so i couldnt get over. so i look back straight ahead and i see this dead baby dear in the road, right in front of my left tire. then *bum bum* i run this dead baby deer over. i looked in my rear view mirror, and i see his legs flailing in the air.
i pretty much punished a dead deer for being dead

I see deer in my front yard while in the breakfast nook eating bagels and drinking coffee. I have not come into contact with one on the road yet, but I did hear about a neighbor having one go in the front windshield and out th back glass of her minivan last winter.
