I did, first he threatened me with not being allowed to got to disneyland then he told me 6 times I was a mechanic and was coming to the U.S. to work on cars and put U.S. people out of work. They also put me in a small room and told me I would stay in there until they where finished processing me. I then told them I would only stay in a cell if they arrested me, Several times during are heated arrgument. He then left and I was escorted back to the waiting room by another officer. ( the supervisor was an impressive 5'1" with a gun and 4 extra clippy thing with the spare ammo on his belt"

Why do you think your fuel prices are so much higher (taxed to pay for it). in 2007 you guys payed 32.5 cents per liter and there are 3.7l to gal so 3.7x32.5 = 1.20 in federal tax per gallon on fuel, plus what ever your provincial rate is on top of that. We pay 18.5 cents per gallon to the feds and vary by states.

Your provincial tax rates are mostly higher than our state taxes.

You have a national "Goods and services tax" or a VAT of 5% and higher sales taxes in the provinces of 8%, thats higher than all but 2 or 3 states. That = 13% sales tax on every thing you buy .

This is just the stuff I know of off the top of my head, I am sure there is more.

In 07 we were right around 3 bucks A GALLON at the pump

there are nearly 4 Liters to a gallon so in in 07 you were paying 3.70 per gallon for the same product with the same costs to bring it to market as here in the sates the rest other 70 cents is the more taxes you pay, to fun your sub standard health care programs.

so e30 tank of fuel is 16 gallons x 70 cents, thats $11.20 in MORE taxes on your fuel you pay. Plus the govt double dips on taxes, they charge you the provincial sales tax of 8% and the national VAT on that 11.20 in fuel taxes, yes you pay tax on a tax. Dont feel bad they do the same shit here in the states too
