But if you rely on mass medias, the roles models for black peoples are either rapists, killers, drug dealers or pimps... This clearly shows the distorded reality as the representation in the real world is much different.
There are black lawyers, politicians, cops, economists, artists too. So unless one "African American" lives in a black ghetto, the abundance of role models is the same as what's available to white people. And beyond the color of the skin, any African American can use any other people as a role model and take pride of their achievements... :up:
