Yes I am african american. By african american I mean of slave ancestory. Obama's ass don't qualify as one. Most of the stereotypes you listed don't qualify as we did not invent most of the stuff, we just buy it and is only a fad. The music was a good response but you killed it with the other shit. And yes we do take pride in soul food. And when black history month comes around you hear about 4 black people ( frederick douglas, MLK, rosa parks, and the peanut guy) I guess we don't have that much cause our history is only a few hundred years where as latin, european, asian cultures go back thousands of years.
