lol, well disregard the sig comment then, good luck with the ES. :D

Lovely Alfa by the way, boattail?

My family and I went to the Amelia Island concours/auctions this year, they had some Porsche 911 seminar for the 50th birthday and whatnot. Hearing Zwart talk about some of his drives and past P-cars was fantastic, his father apparently had a 901 (of which, three attended Sunday's concours, wildly enough) back in the day that started Jeff's passion for the marque. Keep the 904/906 pics coming, it's got to be one of Porsche's most beautiful mid-engined models. My 910 iPhone wallpaper:

Nice. I enjoy his articles and pics in the back of the magazine. As a kid, I went with my dad to a geology conference in Glenwood Springs, CO. Old hotel with a huge hot spring pool. There was a Porsche dealer in this small mountain town, which I thought was bizarre - later I figured out it's just down the canyon from Aspen, duh. They had a brand new '73 (?) silver anniversary 911 inside. First time in person for me I'm sure. The guys let this punk kid sit in it for a long time. Told me they'd have it outside tomorrow if I wanted to come have a ride...(?) ..maybe they thought my dad was some oil engineer or something!? But I still remember that silver 911 like yesterday. My family and I went to the Amelia Island concours/auctions this year, they had some Porsche 911 seminar for the 50th birthday and whatnot. Yes - thank you - '67 1600 Spider properly, but everyone calls it a Duetto. Dark "asphalt" grey, burgundy interior, 3rd owner. Bought it in the mid-80s, just a used sports car. Up on jacks in the garage now - going through all those 40 year old systems before I let anyone drive it again.Comment
