a kid in my grade was born normally, but when he got the typical polio/influenza/measles shot or whatever that most kids get when they are very young, he also developed dystonia. he has been in a wheelchair his whole life and has similar jerky movements and great difficulty speaking. mentally he is 100% normal but his muscle control is severely inhibited

i haven't gotten a flu shot in years and i get sick ones a year, and when i do it is never that bad. it is all about washing your hands frequently, eating right, working out, and making sure you get all your vitamins.
it is better for your body to form natural immunities to viruses as much as possible. it makes for a stronger immune system.

but only wash you hands before you are gonna touch you eyes or eat. Over washing you hands will kill all the good bacteria and will limit you exposure to all bacteria and thus you bodies immune system is not exposed to them and you will get sick more.
