I absolutely hate sharks, but they still interest me for some odd reason.

They say this "monster" shark is up to 20 feet in length, which is still pretty fucking big, but don't most great white sharks get up to that size once they reach adulthood?

i have a huge respect for sharks.

and for anyone afraid of them, they aren't out to get you. If you're swimming at dusk/dawn, in murky water, or hanging around schools of fish. (all of which are common here in fl, stupid people), its your own fault for looking like food.

This 10 footer was in distress and the other shark knew it.

It's actually 16 foot the media has been exagerating as usual. This is the average size for a fully grow white pointer so i do not know what all the fuss is about.

The two sharks probable got into a fight and when the older bigger shark was cornered he did a Mike Tyson and took bite out of him. lol

It is only making head lines because a shark chomped another shark and that makes it sound scary.

I doubt this was a massive shark. Most likely Makos got wind of food in distress.

Here's what probably happened.

The smaller shark got snared in the netting or whatever it was stated in the article, and started to thrash around. The thrashing attracted the bigger shark who thought it was food, and as a result took a bite out of the helpless, smaller shark.

Nothing special, I don't know why the media is having such a field day with this, other than the fact that that picture is pretty intense.
