    Bimmer Driver Songs

what do you guys listen to at the helm of your ultimate driving machines?
I listen to a wide variety of stuff, mostly Rock and oldschool/decent newer rap. I don't know know what it is about this song, but it reminds me the most of my car back in the 90's when it belonged to my aunt and uncle in san mateo who were into these kinda songs.
hahaha...i found a tape cassette with this song under the seat while cleaning it yesterday

I listen to seriously everything. The one I really remember is 80's Madonna cause I almost r3ved my car that night trying to hit this awesome apex, guess the song wasn't too motivating. Sometimes I play Ride of the Valkyries when I really want to get in the zone and it was composed by a German so it is even more fitting.

            for us older guys
i listen to a lot of rock, from old beatles to green day/the killers
but the song i'd choose on a sunny day driving in the cascades up here in the PNW would be

Way of the World by Earth Wind and Fire
“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

Stuff with a good strong beat, that's what I designed the stereo for.

Right now I'm going through an early punk phase, you know, a DKs/Sex Pistols/Ramones sort of thing, last week it was a new-wave, Buggles/Blondie/Nena, run. My last road-trip was a techno-trance Prodigy/Juno-reactor trip.
Frankly it changes from week to week (I have loads and loads of $1 pawn-shop CDs).
Pretty much I listen to anything but the rap/hip-hop spectrum and post 70's country.

I have a very good quality recording of a Boom Boom concert that I listen to most of the time. It takes me back to when about 10 years ago we went on road trips with my father, listening to the same album.

Here is a bad quality cam recording, it really starts at 2:15, it's worth listening to it:)

If you want some good light German techno-polka (yes, you read that correctly) look up any of the classics by DJ Ötzi, anyone that was in a German club circa 2001 can vouch for this.
