    M3 wheels on a Camaro

this is the first car i ever owned. had it since i was 16 years old. built it to drag race runs 12.4 1/4 mile
it was parked at my parents for the last 5 years. they finally gave me the boot. so its at my house now.

anyways i was bored today so i took a wheel off and put the M3 wheel in its place just to see what it would look like. i think it looks pretty good. wouldnt work without wheel spacers though. thats a 17x8.5 m3 wheel

        5x4.75.

I did the same thing to my Nova, but only because I got the M3 wheels for cheap.

5x4.75 comes out to like 5x120.5, so they essentially bolt up no problem.

Corvettes, per exemple are on a 5 x 4-3/4" bolt pattern. A BMW wheel will slide over the studs because a) 4-3/4" is 120,7mm and b) wheels have 14 to 15mm thru holes to make up for the difference of circumference.

But while it seems it fits, it causes many problems.
                    a) hubs are not he same diameter
                    b) the 0.7mm difference is huge as the bolts don't seat properly and bend.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

you could use wobble bolts to make up for the difference. Dunno how well they hold up

Actually it is 120.65mm. Anything but 120mm is WRONG anyway.

There was a green 5th gen Camaro up the road from me that was running the 7 series 18" M Parallel wheels. It actually didn't look too bad.
