well lets see this thread is about 2 of the newest phones to sprint. So im pretty sure theres something else. And lets see since the instinct came out over 2 years ago there plunty cooler. Like the Palm Pro, Palm Pre, S30(newer version of the instinct), HTC touch pro, HTC touch pro 2, within the last 3 weeks you have the Samsung Intrepid, HTC Hero, Samsung Instinct HD, and The Samsung Moment.If you cant choose from the many new phones that are better than what you have then stfu

S30 is FAR better than the original...I have 3 on my plan, all 3 are great, as long as you don't use the "web", which is basically useless.

Pre, my buddy is on his 3rd and its not from abuse. If they put the OS in some good hardware it might be interesting.

WinMo needs, well, help. the new Instinct seemed just like a warmed over instinct and the Hero seems sketch. Its internal memory is a joke and word is you can only install software to the internal memory. So when Android grows the phone will not support the new software.

I will check out this new phone but it has seemed through my time with sprint that they are only ahead of t-mobile on getting the good phones. Android is appealing because of exchange support and software updates.

Saying "Dont use the MM touch phone for the web" is a joke. Its GPS is also laggy on the software end (seems to have gotten worse with the update) and my texts seem to arrive and send at random times.

I kinda feel this is Sprint's attitude anyway these days. I have been with them for 10 years. I couldn't wait to see what I would get with the 10 year program.. Then I found out it was either 10 years or 6 months (paid on time). I think I get %15 off of over priced accessories. Yeah!

Problem is he is having issues that I have seen on boards all over. First one got that heat screen cracking issue. The other two have that issue for when you close them it resets, shuts off or freezes. It also feels like a piece of shit. Even worse than the sliding mechanism on my bro's G1. If you are trying to justify a device that costs as much as a top of the line netbook it shouldnt feel like it was made by Fisher Price.

I have a friend that is on his 3rd Pre too.. He didn't even make it out of the parking lot with it. The movement sensors where bad and would re-boot if you turned it.

It didnt shit out in the first 30 days. Now he just has to be on a first name basis with the chick at the Sprint store. In their defense they have been good about supporting it.

You sound like a CSA for Sprint. First Im talking bullshit about the Pre being shit but once I point out the details you say, "its his fault for buying the shitty phones we put out." Also, saying it was shit was WHY I wasnt listing it in the "potential phone list" and you said "Hey, we have the pre!"

I guess on the plus side they arent losing a million subscribers a quarter now, only half that. Although with fewer total subscribers it doesnt help your job security.

My pre isn't broken. Looks like crap from this crazy weekend in Vegas but still works prefect.

Ive been with Sprint forever since when their only service area was in San Diego in the mid-late 90s. I still have the pioneer plan where I just pay like 30 cents every minute but theres no monthly charges. That phone is hooked up to my mom's carphone. THeir service isn't horrible well atleast I've been treated alright. But the perks has slowly been getting taken away. Ok no one cares so I'll shutup now.
