Wow this has degraded into childish behavior in the usual r3v fashion!
First of all e30=sexy, you need to really stop telling people to stfu. that's pathetic and just because you're not at work doesn't mean you still don't represent the company. I worked for Sprint for 3 years and my dad has been working with them for 10, no way in hell any of my or his bosses would be happy to hear about either of us talking shit to customers.
Ryan, I don't know what went wrong with your buddy's Pre but I think he got stuck with the short end of the stick. I've had a Pre since over a month before they were released, which I expected to have bugs but haven't had a single problem, it's actually the one phone I haven't heard of many issues with the exception of the super small keyboard that I don't like.
I laugh when I hear people complain about cheap phones ($150 or less), the fact is they are cheap for a reason and most of the stuff you all are complaining about are problems found in a solid 50% of all phones offered by every phone company. I don't care who you're with, ATT, Verizon, Sprint, TMobile etc, at least half of their selection is going to be bugged out, slow, defective, whatever (Ever heard of Windows Mobile 6.1???). Ask anyone at any company, you'll get an honest answer from someone who isn't looking just to make a buck, why do you think everyone pushes you to get repair insurance????
We all agree the Instinct was a disaster, I hated that phone, I didn't even like the S30, and I'm not convinced the HD will be any better, the Java OS is just too underdeveloped. Although I will say that the voicemail system on the Instinct was the best system I have encountered yet, it was amazing!
Ryan, "the hero seems sketch"??? Clearly you haven't actually used, seen or even researched the phone. MicroSD expandable memory allows for remote installation of software, which is why the internal memory is suited specifically for the OS. It happens to be why it comes with a MicroSD card. word is you shouldn't listen to hearsay. Personally I don't like the virtual keyboard or the angled bottom that the hero shares with the G1, not my style.
Last thing, who on earth buys cell phone accessories (besides batteries) from the company??? Even when I worked there I told clients to go somewhere else for that shit, I make commission off of phone sales, accessories is little to nothing. Yeah I agree the 15% "discount" is bullshit but you shouldn't be looking for that stuff there in the first place. Having seen both the Commercial and retail side of Sprint, I do think it treats its long time customers unfairly as far as discounts. But then again ATT, Verizon and everybody else doesn't do much better.
