I'm surprised they didn't stress the importance of not grabbing the yellow and black lever during the passenger's pre-brief.

Passengers would have been briefed on the ejection sequence and warned that the "loop" between his legs was not to be touched unless the pilot called "Eject, eject, eject" during the flight. Such a briefing is done routinely, even when two qualified pilots are involved in the flight.

Hahaha yeah but it's actually pretty awesome that he's alright. That probably scared the shit out of the pilot. Imagine what he went through when that happened and still safely landed the plane.
