I know it's early, but I figured I'd start whetting peoples' appetites for the upcoming Gran Turismo 5.

for those of you who will undoubtedly say "this game isn't ever going to be released", they have all but confirmed spring 2010 for japan and summer/late summer for other territories.

these are IN GAME, GAMEPLAY screenshots. I love forza to death, but there is no dispute when it comes to who the graphics king is. the detail and lighting is stunning. it is also nice/refreshing to see them including damage, now. i just hope the gameplay isn't as "sterile" as GT5: Prologue... something tells me it won't be.

Looks nice, its a shame that they wont have all cars with interiors. Id be willing to wait another year from the planned release date if they have all cars with cockpits. also it needs more cars 800 isnt enough, 2500 would be better. and more tracks to 35 insnt enough 100 unique tracks each with its respective variants so more loke 300 total including reverse and variants.

The latest news on this game is that it's going to feature a full track editor built into the game...which will allow you to edit all tracks that come with the game and create your own.

This is hands down going to be the BEST racing game ever created.

Wow, that fake rumor is still circulating? This is not true. All cars are fully modeled inside and out. They said that only 200 of the cars will have INTERIOR DAMAGE MODELING

Good thing there is over 1000 cars included in the game, each with over 400,000 polygons each.

I'm excited to have a good racing SIMULATOR once again. I'm growing tired of GTR2. Forza is not a simulator and doesn't suit my taste.

Forza you can do swaps, FI, and NA.

Hopefully you can do the same with gt5.

So, the Prologue is/was what? I'm still trying o close 3 courses on the S series but I don't see much cars or rally cars out there.
