Bugatti Veyron goes swimming

how exactly do i talk as if I am inebriated? and you can laugh at me about the "go fast" comment all you want, but it was a quote from one of the engineers who designed the car.Ah, that's swell. I'm sure you (the guy with the E30 who talks like he is inebriated) struck up a riveting convo with the Veyron owner.
However, you are wrong thinking there is a "Go Fast" key that adds 500 bhp, this isn't Need For Speed. The key allows the driver to bypass the limited top speed (there are disagreements as to the actual amount, but somewhere between 215mph and 233mph) to the manufacturer's claimed top speed of 256mph. It does this by adjusting the rev limiter, timing, the passive aerodynamic package, and the suspension.
Edit: You never provided proof (not proff) for the $3.3M list price, nor the displacement-on-demand feature.
<-- that is a bone ass base price. and I got my 3.3 number from an article in car and driver and after double checking it was the refering to the estimated cost of the "grand sport" package. which actually sells for 2.1mil$$1,700,000.the as tested part means it can get more expensive, just so you know.Originally posted by wired.comPrice: $2,100,000 (as tested)Originally posted by Beej '86 325esevery time an M-tech 1 spoiler is destroyed, a baby seal dies.87 325:83 jetta coupe:99 volvo c70:99 volvo s70Originally posted by JparkrThe last thing we need are more of the retards on here thinking they are engineers too.Comment

So what you're saying is, that $3.3M quote was way off and you still don't have proof that the Veyron has two keys (one for "not so fast" and one for "super fast,") am I understanding that correctly?<-- that is a bone ass base price. and I got my 3.3 number from an article in car and driver and after double checking it was the refering to the estimated cost of the "grand sport" package. which actually sells for 2.1mil$ the as tested part means it can get more expensive, just so you know.
Oh, wait wait, nevermind. So, that $1.7M is the base price for a Veyron? So, once you include leather seats, HID's, Bose Premium surround sound, alloy wheels, cruise control, and remote keyless entry the price will go from $1.7M to $3.3M? Oh okay, nevermind then, you were exactly right then.
I should have checked MSNAutos before arguing with your well-informed self.- Trey

so you can't read? I said my number was a quote of and estimated cost of the grand sport. the grand sport base is $2.1m over the regular veyron which bases at $1.7m. oh and your either an moron or didn't read anything i said because i did prove it has two keys. you can google it if you like, but I am right. oh and a sound system that can play skipless at 250+mph, one of a kind wheels that are 14+in wide and need 25ktires mounted by the factory, in france, which bring cost to about 70k+ total. then it will raise the price a good bit, not 2mil but it can be seen how a magaize who is speculating on the cost of a car like the grand sport a year before it comes out might guess a wee bit high.So what you're saying is, that $3.3M quote was way off and you still don't have proof that the Veyron has two keys (one for "not so fast" and one for "super fast,") am I understanding that correctly?
