    Awesome or Easy?

If it's one course, a foundational course, that's giving you trouble, then give it some extra attention. Get some help. Retake the class even if you fail. If you start taking the easy road now, you will not be happy doing anything you're doing 30 years from now because you'll know you had potential.

It sounds liek you need to carve out more time for school and less for R3v, friends, etc. It sucks, but if you get a tutor and really buckle down on this statics, you'll get through it. If you really can't get it, an MBA is a good degree to have, very flexible with plenty of earning potential.

Engineering sucks, but if you can survive for the 4 or so years, it'll pay off.

I'm a Tech Writer (Journalism degree) for an engineering/defense company that builds electrical switchboards/generators/etc for the military.

Some of the engineers would be pissed if they knew my salary was as close to theirs as it is.

a mech eng tech means you will be a tech, ie no baccalaureate? is that correct?

it sounds like you dont like statics because you dont understand it and it's a thorn in your side right now. i know you have alot on your plate right now, but sometimes just going back to chapter 1 and slowly rereading everything would unlock your understanding.

my first suggestion, disconnect your internet. just focus and think of how much you can gain if you pass vs how much you will lose.

oh and i dont know much about instrumentation engineering. i assume it will be lots of math, signals, processing, transforms, fitlering, etc.

well i sat down with the head the other day, and he said it's only getting harder from now. Looks like i will be re-taking the class this year. i didn't even show up for the midterm today, because i know i will embarrass my self.

thinking about re-taking the course next semster.

You're right, time to think about the future. even if i have to do it in 3 years, i will stick with that.

this weekend i am making the decision. i decided just to sit and think about it.

also i just got 75% in my calculs midterm. kinda make up for the big fuck-up in statics.

                      Industrial? what's that about lol?

also xray tech? i dunno if that will have to deal with Bio i will stay away from it.

lol, xray tech has nothing to do with bio. it's for x-raying airplanes and parts to search for defects/cracks.

How does one get into that field? Being in OK, we have a ton of gas/oil work, and I'd like to make much more than I do now!

statistics is basic math for an engineer. your not going to find any engineering related field that doesn't use math.
