I use Twitter to help drive sales of my web design company. I follow a ton of other web designers and opera houses. I have been able to tie a direct line of sales boosts thanks o twitter. Now that I'm getting ready to launch a new web service in a few months I've been using it to get feedback from customers, ideas from other designers and programmers and to market the new service to Opera Companies and Singers. It's actually been great for me to be on it. Granted I don't actually tweet anything about my life just business stuff. I use in conjunction with my blog and website.

I was really surprised by twitter.

I've found people to follow that I really admire, and want to know what is going on with them work-wise (and personally sometimes too). Peaty dame cool that I can also send them a message and pick their brains on something simple that I'm struggling with that is work related. 99% of the time they are glad to take a second and answer a question. And I'm just a nobody.

Titter can be what ever you want it to be - it all depends on the people you follow. Twitter will be lame if you are interested in lame people. That's goes without saying.

              Oh, @georgegraves ;)

G1 and I love it still. I have to admit though something a bit faster would be nice, but i'm happy.

My friend picked up the droid on launch day. I'm so fucking jealous of that phone, but I cant afford a contract. I'm gonna end up getting a WinMo phone on MetroPCS because it's the same price i'm paying for boost with better service and phone :/
