    free video editing software?

    Hey fellas,
I've got 2 video projects due on Wednesday this week and I was wondering if the r3v community could help me by suggesting some free video editing software.
    Requirements:
    - windows based
    - must be able to piece together video, sound, add text, decent effects
    - not too much of a learning curve; I can handle most picture editing software, my PS skills are acceptable (not great), but I just don't have time to deal with an overly steep learning curve

So, what do guys have for me?

    Check this out!

Let Me Google That For You (LMGTFY): for all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than search it for themselves.

Ok but in all honesty that's about how well I can help you. I used to edit on Premiere and have only done some work on Final Cut Pro but both of those are NOT free.

        This.

It's not "pro", but you can do all the basics you need with it.

I agree on Windows Movie Maker. I use it over Premiere anytime I just need to cut something together or do something simple. It has its issues, but hey, it's free.
