i was driving my wifes 540 110mph on 35w headed to gods country on thanksgiving afternoon and it seemed like i was doing 80mph. i looked down and was surprised. its easy to do. even moreso in a car that fucker would drive. whatever it was im sure it is a lot smoother and more powerful than an e39 540

Word. Both E39 540i's I've driven have seemed deceptively slow on the highway. 120 felt like 70.

Even so, 110 is a bit steep for a 55 zone... it's not like it was 2AM with nobody on the road.
