Death really does suck, I just found out a few min ago, a good friend from HS is on life support. She has 48 hours to breath on her own.
The drunk fuck who crashed their snowmobile is soon to be on his way to jail.

On August 10th of this year, a handful of my friends went to the beach as a, 'last hangout before we split to college', trip. Well five of my friends were involved in a horrible car crash. Four of them passed away right then and there. Aja, Amanda, Jason and my buddy Ritchie. I was close to them all. For instance, I went to tolo (girl asks a guy type of dance) with Aja (she was on MTVs Made) and hungout when time allowed. Amanda and I would go to taco bell, that was our thing. I knew Jason since 5th grade, he was our class president and spoke at graduation. And Ritchie was a car guy like me. We had a few classes. Real cool guy. Now the fifth friend is Dustin. He survived with a punctured lung, broken ribs, an insane amount of cuts with glass in him, a cracked skull causing swelling of the brain, and other injuries. It only took him 3 weeks or so to recover, when it normally takes months and months. He's perfectly fine, except with loss of hearing in his left ear.

And today, another buddy of mine whom I have known since 6th grade, and graduated with me and the others above..died today. He kicked cancers ass. He lived everyday as if it was his last. But for the past few weeks he had an unbareable chest pain. He hung himself from all the stress, pain, and other personal issues. He was a real good kid. No one ever saw it coming.

Not sure why I'm writing this..but come on, five friends from my graduating class?? Our lives haven't even begun! We all graduated almost 6 months ago. It's BS. None of this should've happened. All I know is, they ALL will be missed ever so much.

I just needed to get this off my chest.

Go Spuds. The graduating class of 2009 will never forget you guys.

Are these the kids who died on hwy 30? I was driving back from Longview that day and say cops from OSP, St. Helens, Rainer, and Scapoose, all racing out there, plus like 4 Ambulances.

I feel for you man, I was in the car that killed my best friend back in June of '05, would have been graduation day, if he hadn't had to go to summer school. The pain I have felt for it I don't think will ever go away, and I will never forget that day. Like it was yesterday. You know the best thing you can do for them is to live from the good examples that they set. Do what they would have wanted, and never forget them, and talk about them. Every time I drink a beer my first one goes out to Matt, whether I say it out loud or not.

RIP Matthew Scott Neyhart. 1-27-87 - 6-1-05, gone but not forgotten.

This has been a bad month. I lost my Mom two weeks and 4 days ago. Battled diabetes her whole life and her body shut off.

Sorry to hear about it patches, that sounds tragic. Hope she pulls through.

My Grandmother passed on the 18th. I've dealt with a lot of death in the past few years, but this is the closest family member as of yet in my life...

            Wow guys condolences for all.

Death sucks, had to watch my dad dieing my senior year in high school and finally pass a year latter (ALS aka Lou Gherigs)

And My gpa last year, succumb to Melanoma, after getting it all taken care of a few years before, it came back in his brain and about 6 months latter that was it. Still cant hardly watch a NFL game especially a lions game as we are both life long lions fans.

To all of us who have lost, and to all who are still fighting the war, may 2010 bring better days for all of us, and may the fallen rest in peace.

I feel for you man, I lost my best friend in April my last year of high school in a car wreck. That shit fucked me up for a good few years. About when I got over that I lost my dad to a heart attack shit fucking sucks.
We used to vacation in Grand Cayman after every xmas and we haven't gone for like 7 years because they tore down the condo we always stay at. It's been like 5 years since he died but we are down here this year and its really reminding of all the time we spent together here, we ate out for the first time tonight and it really hit home.

i didnt read much of whats here but it reminds me of a night at our local taco bell.. hanging out with a long time school mate, right when he left the place and went across the street, he was being a dumbass and fell off the back of a truck and never recovered.

                  it makes you think.

Thats awful, I lost my best friend of over 12 years in March this year to an over sized heart at the age of 24. Its never easy loosing someone, especially when they are so young.

Good luck, and remember to appreciate the time you did have with them.

We all carry burdens which none of us would trade for. We are all brothers in that regard, and may we find solace or maybe even strength knowing there are others out there who know how you feel. Be well, R3V, be strong at this difficult time of year. Merry Christmas.
