Schweinsteiger really brought it to Maradona too, which i loved, (dont get me wrong, Maradona
was Maradona, and no one can change that).

Maradona made a comment sometime in the past few days about 'Steiger being a simple ball
boy and lacking talent, and to me he was the man of the match.

Yeah. We somehow don't consider it funny. Especially that Podolski and Trochowski (not sure how was it with Klose) were all born in Poland and wanted to play for Polish national team.

Our "oh-so-great-football-association" (dumb old farts) turned them down, claiming they are not good enough to play for us.

Being polish, this is the only reason why I root for germany. That and waiting to see when Ozel will turn into a salamander, and the fact that the goals they score are just beautiful.

They could have won, if they stepped up their defense. Maradona shifted to offense once that first goal went in while Germany shifted to defense. After that second goal, they knew they wouldn't come back so they gave up which just made it worse because they couldn't even score a damn goal. 4 - 0 is just straight out embarrassing. I'm still devastated, my older relatives all cried because they knew they would never see their country win another cup again especially without Maradona.
