I have acer aspire one 10" ...but with the 3-cell. Definatly get a 6-cell i get about 3hours of battery time which kinda limits portability. Also try to get one with 1280x720 resolution. 1024x600 limits you sometimes. Certain site don't display properly and as stated some programs. But other then that this is my main pc and I do all kinds of stuff on it (audio recording, some photo editing(becomes difficult on large photos) besides the usual.

haha, yeah you would think after they already gave me a new one (HD crashed - yes it can happen, and happens far more often than you think). I maxed mine out (it's a year old) with the 2.6Ghz dual core, 4GB of ram and it can barely run, FF3, PS and BBedit at the same time without freezing up constantly. PS is the only ram heavy app of those three. Oh and God forbid I have to run more than one Adobe program. I'm a web designer and going between Lightroom 2, PS ad Flash and this fucker is slower than a pentium 256!! The only computer I've ever had run without problems is my desktop, but I also built it by hand, and for 10k less than the Apple desktop with the same specs! I'm also running Snow Leopard on my Mac and PC, still I want to throw my mac out the window sometimes.

Any computer will let you megasquirt so long as you have internet access and no parental controls or other content filters in place.

I have a dell I use for work. Its ok. I had an HP. It was better. Work for me isnt sitting at a desk with it. I had it after two field technicians and then giving it to me (the third), and after I was done checking it into 56 flights, it finally crapped out and they gave me a Dell. And it didnt even really. When I got back from California the IT guy slapped it and it came back on and the programmer has been using it since. The only reason why the Dell still works is because I carry it on now. 101 flights out to the field and it still is turning on.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|
