So, I have always doubted that Human kind is truely influencing the climate as has been said.

I still think we are affecting the climate but not on a level that will truly cause a greater change than that is being caused by the planets own temperature increases and decreases.

That being said we do need to start taking care of our planet, It is the only place we have, and we are kind of raping our planet of its natural resources.

When my friends start asking me about Global Warmin/ Climate change I say believe in it, but not the way they do. Sure there are plenty of things we need to do, creating alternative fuels sources and cleaning up the air are a great, but we need to do it so the air we breath is better, not because we're causing the downfall of humanity and the utter destruction of the earth as we know it! The issue has become too political and, just like every other political issue, there are crazies on both sides. People have become too partisan about this issue and are unwilling to compromise in any manner.

You are a fool if you believe that global warming is caused exclusively by humans and that it will have significant negative effects on the environment and humanity.

You are a fool if you believe that humans have no effect on the environment and that we should continue to pump proven dangerous chemicals into the air we breath and continue to rely on a finite resource.

Humanity as a whole needs to come to the realization that the things we do have negative effects on people and the environment. Steps need to be taken to limit, as much as possible, the effects we have.

Green technology is a good thing for the health of the environment, for the health of people and for this country. The entire world is crazy for buying green tech right now and this country has the potential to be a worldwide leader in its development. Just think about the positive effects this could have on our shitty economy.

Who cares if Al Gore is making billions? So are the oil companies. I don't necessarily like the way the government is taking control of this issue but if more regulations will spur development in green technology, which they will, then I see them as a good thing.

You just posted a video with Zero substance. You couldn't hear a god damn word anyone was saying other than the cute songs of ignorant protesters. He didn't call anyone a Nazi, he simply made a reference to the "hitler youth". From what I saw, these kids don't want to listen. They'd rather parade around with the banners singing songs and not letting the opposing side speak. That is blind ignorance, and damn near close to the mindset of hitler youth in my humble opinion.

See the thing is the Evil big oil companies are providing a much needed and useful products, while employing millions of people world wide with great paying jobs, and are only making 6-8% profit on their products. Seems reasonable return for their billions of dollars of investments to me, many of which dont pan out and reach profitability, or even get a drop or usable resource.

Ass hole is using the govt's of the world to pass a taxation system (cap and trade) and his company is set up to broker the Carbon Credit trades for a fee. You see hes not providing anything at all, but just leaching on bad science and paranoid fear. Its nothing more then theft from all of us. His ventures employ relatively few people and and provide nothing of notable value to the economy over all or society.

Great video. You guys should at least sign the petition against the Copenhagen treaty. Did you hear him say what the treaty actually says? I don't doubt it. I'm sure the power won't be used immediately but nonetheless I wouldn't doubt if the power was handed over to the government in the way he outlined.


PS: I'd like to hear your guys' evidence that human's ARE, in fact, affecting the temperature of the Earth.

I agree moving away from pollution and harmful chemicals is positive, if for nothing else then our health, but that has nothing to do with temperatures or a so called global warming.
