Its the point of being stopped for no reason. If You got stopped at this stop, during your working day, You would feel the same( unless You work for other people)
Have any of You had similar experiences elsewhere? ( Not night time drunk driving stops)?

So in NC they set up roadblocks on the pretense of catching 15 year old children without a license.

They confiscate every car they pull over. Very Tammany Hall.

They set up road blocks to catch people without a license because it is a common problem there with illegal aliens. It has nothing to do with race, so stop trying to make an issue out of it.

This may blow your mind, but sometimes the police set up certain things like that where certain crimes are common, in order to catch people committing certain crimes.

Sometimes cops sit on the highway where people are known to speed, so they can catch people speeding. Is that a race issue? (no pun intended)

Here in WNY, they set up road blocks to check people's inspection and registration, because oftentimes people let it go past the due date. I've been caught a few times, but are they targeting white middle class 22 year olds? Incidentally, if you don't have a license at these road blocks you're screwed, no matter what race you are.

They also set up road blocks here for drunk driving, on the 'pretense' of catching drunk drivers. Because people here get drunk a lot and drive. Because they live in Buffalo and as a result they want to die. But I digress.

Anyway, what you're saying is basically equivalent to saying that I should be allowed to fly a plane even though I may not have the qualifications nor the permission of the government. And if they catch me they're being racist.

I lol'd... But in all seriousness, I completely agree with most people. I would rather have these roadblocks take up a few minutes of my time where i live to catch illegals than simply letting them go about their business.

And you know what? They pull illegals over the same way here. There are just less of them, and they snag them coming out of the rural farm roads from the fields.

It's a suttle joke you wouldn't understand. Forget it, it's a mute point.

This was something way different from the checkstops that have been a common occurrence here for many years. This is the middle of the day, On the most heavily traveled street , in all of Los Angeles County. Four Lanes in each direction.
As I pulled away , You could see the commercial parking lot , directly connected to the Police Station, filling up with the autos they had stolen.
It is about the money. They are writing people tickets, that have no licenses, and taking the cars, no matter who owns them. Impounded for six months, the same time as if You got your third driving on a suspended license.Follow the money. It is about the money.Years ago unheard of, in my minds eye, absolutely wrong.

Had you been through one of the Smog Check Checkpoints? Or The CARB sticker/put your car on a ramp and check the emission system checkpoints?
