HOW IS THAT GOING TO BE PAID FOR?????? There is no such thing as a free lunch

I work hard very hard I earn a good living (by no means "rich"), BUT the only reason I do what I do, and work as hard as I do, is because of the Heath care I get along with it. Its a incentive to help attract the best talent and keep them.

I have turned down job offers for way more money and time off, due the the shitty Heath care that is offered.

Yes it does. Nothing is free. If everybody has free access to everything then there isn't enough resources in the world to fund it all. That means, by necessity and definition, that it will be substandard. It's reality here, not the fantasy world of Obama, Pelosi and Reed. NOTHING is free. You will pay through the nose for anything the government provides for you. You will pay more for it too and you will get a lower standard of care.

The current bill does not contain a "universal" or "public" requirement in it. However, Pelosi will try to add it back into the house version. Then, yes, you will lose your Blue Cross. But right now, you might get to keep it if this bill passes as-is. Just your costs will go up.

Nobody really knows right now what, exactly, is in the current plan. We know there is a lot of graft, as pointed out before. We know there are higher taxes in it. We know there will be massive unintended consequences and we know that Reed thinks this is the building block for a future public system. Other than that we have to find out as people get a chance to read the 2000 some-odd pages. All of this was cooked up behind closed doors by just a few of the elite democrats.

This bill is an abomination and everybody who voted for any of the morons who voted yes to it should by horribly embarrassed and ashamed. Fire every one of them.

If i can pay for the gold plated plan i sure as hell want the choice to have it.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The majority of the population Already has access to heath care and 80% or so are really happy with what they have.

So in layman's terms the USA has 300 million people in it.
Gotvs Official Uninsured number 44 million (most of that is really illegals)
so that 44million = 0.14% of the population
so it seems that the massive majority has access to health care insurance already. But in reality you cant be turned away for care based on ability to pay. You are sick or hurt, you will be treated.

    I will do you one better 300mil - 44mil = 256mill

256mill x 80%= 204.8mil (over 2/3's of the population) are very happy with their health care option they have now. So by the defination of majority much more than the majority not only have heath care, they LIKE THE HEALTH CARE THEY HAVE.

as to the ever one all the same plan
ask then how that works in Canada UK and all the other places that do that.

They are trying to shove this thing through before christmas, not gonna happen but it only passed thanks to abominable criminal actions of the President, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Since when did Bribing Senators for votes be considered an acceptable?

Just in case people don't know how this admin was able to get the Nebraska Senator for his YES vote, they made a provision in the Senate bill in which the State of Nebraska will NEVER, let me repeat that NEVER, have to pay for Medicaid!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget the $10 BILLION Dollars they gave Vermont, in exchange for its YES vote Nebraska will NO LONGER PAY FOR MEDICAID!!! once again, Medicaid is INDEFINITELY "FREE" for the state of Nebraska!!!!! Which means the other 49 states get to raise taxes to cover that state's expenses.
