I dont give a fuck how the "works" The way it "works" if fucked up. Dont accuse of watching MTV, I dont watch that bullshit. Look, the amount of healthcare you get shouldnt depend on how much money you have. A poor person should get the same care as a rich person would.

How fucked up it is is irrelevant. I agree that everyone "should" have access to great health care. The reality, though, is that we can't afford it. The question is "how do we give people access to a minimum level of health care without damaging the country?" Taxing the shit out of the corporations as you would like to do would result in one thing and one thing only: A bankrupt US of A.

If we get a 90% corporate tax rate, corporations will just leave, the useful workers will leave, and the country will be full of drones with no one to employ them. If you want to know what that would look like, think Zimbabwe.

But hey, if Zimbabwenomics are your thing, why not? Universal poverty is totally awesome.
