damn shame, kinda glad i was there earlier this year though. Cool to be able to say I went to the 'original' landmark... they have that property on lease for 9000 years... I give it 2 tops before it's back and better than ever. For those of you who have not been, it is quite a gorgeous building, the inside is hollowed in the trademark shape of a Guinness glass, and at the top, representing the head of the beer, was the 'Gravity bar' - which coincidentally was the highest point in all of Dublin.Leave a comment:

I'm not a huge Guinness fan, but I love black & tans and half-masts. Also, Guinness is EXCELLENT for marinating steaks in, and for using in corned beef and cabbage. But when it comes to straight drinking beer, I prefer the stronger, sharper flavor of a good IPA.Leave a comment:
