UPS indeed charges a $20 broker fee for anything that crosses a border. That fee hikes to $50 if you are a company. That's part of their profit. But you can skip that fee by saying you are going to broker the parcel yourself, which can be easy or difficult, depending on where the border agency is. -
i import stuff from the UK a lot and i get billed by fedex after the fact for brokerage fees. its just the way it is.Leave a comment:

When he shows up ask to see the package before you agree to brokerage fees.
With it in your hands step back inside and slam the door in his face.
Done it. Never paid it.Leave a comment:

too bad it was the drivers side euro Bosch high beam, the top center of the plastic part that holds the high and low beams together on BOTH sides, the center of one of the rear euro bulb carriers, and fractures in the other side's lens. luckily i have pictures of everything from before it shipped and i can match up the dirt and smudges from the good pictures to the broken parts i got.Leave a comment:

You know it is insured up to $100, right? And they will reimburse your shipping charges. Not sure about brokerage fees, but they might even reimburse those too.Leave a comment:
