Wow, a fellow campari guy. I prefer mine with soda water, however.

I'd say that my current favorite cocktail for the winter season has to the the Improved Whiskey Cocktail.

      Recipe

      Improved Whiskey Cocktail
(The designation "improved" comes from the addition of the maraschino and absinthe, which are absent in the "plain" cocktail.)

      - 2oz whiskey (I've been going with bourbon lately - Old Weller 107)
      - 2 dashes bitters (Angostura or Boker's)
      - 1tsp rich simple syrup (2 parts demerara to 1 part water)
      - 1/2 tsp maraschino
      - dash absinthe
      - lemon twist

*Combine ingredients (sans twist), add ice, stir, and strain into a cocktail glass.

      - From Jerry Thomas' Bartenders Guide, 1887.

I use to drink nothing but White Russians. But the combination of booze and caffeine is a killer combo. You end up staying up all night drinking.

I like to keep it simple. Gin and tonic. Plus, tonic water is good for my heart burn.

Nearly Identical to my favorite Cocktail: The Manhattan Special

                    2oz Rye Whiskey
                    1oz Sweet Vermouth
                    1/4tsp Maraschino Liquor
                    1 dash absinthe
                    2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes gum syrup (raw sugar/cane simple syrup)
                    Lemon Peel.

The Key differences are the vermouth and the sole use of a Rye Whiskey.

When I'm at the bars, I get a Tokyo Tea. It's like a Long Island, but with Midori Melon instead of Coke & sweet and sour.

                      At home, I usually drink:
                      Tanqueray & ginger ale w/lime
                      Jagermeister & Rockstar
                      Grey Goose & anything

Been getting Royal Flush's a lot lately. They are very refreshing.

                            1 1/2 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
                            1 oz peach schnapps
                            1 oz cranberry juice

Crown and Coke is also a favorite, along with a good Mojito (which seems hard to find).

Oh, and B52's are good as well. I usually drink them over ice though instead of in shot form. Good end-of-the-night drink.

                            1 part Irish Cream (Bailey's)
                            1 part Grand Marnier
                            1 part Kahlua
