Hmm favorite drink.... Definitely gin martini, tanqueray gin, martini and Rossi vermouth (just a touch) two or three giant olives. Shaken hard till the fingers almost get frostbite, and poured into a cold martini glass; but I also love beer (maybe a spaten? Top three beers on my list), and white Russians!Leave a comment:

I think people are confusing "favorite cocktail" with "what I slam at the bar to get drunk." Or perhaps I just can't fathom someone appreciating the quality of a finely crafted Long Island Iced Tea.
To the fellow G&T folks, are there any cocktail bars in your areas that are crafting their own tonics? A few bartenders in Portland have been making, and serving, their own house-brewed tonic waters that are absolutley out of this world. They aren't quite as quinine-forward as traditional tonics and step up a lot of the herbal undertones of it.Leave a comment:

Been getting Royal Flush's a lot lately. They are very refreshing.
1 1/2 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz cranberry juice
Crown and Coke is also a favorite, along with a good Mojito (which seems hard to find).
Oh, and B52's are good as well. I usually drink them over ice though instead of in shot form. Good end-of-the-night drink.

When I'm at the bars, I get a Tokyo Tea. It's like a Long Island, but with Midori Melon instead of Coke & sweet and sour.
At home, I usually drink:
Tanqueray & ginger ale w/lime
Jagermeister & Rockstar
Grey Goose & anythingLeave a comment:
