Well yeah, this is true and I agree 100%, but you have pick the lesser of the 2 evils you are presented with. There has not been a candidate I WOULD vote FOR in a long long time, vs the vote for some one as a measure to vote against some one. Its the shitty part of a 2 party system where both sides really are not all that different.

Just to save some legwork for all you jump on the "I'm a total hypocrite in the biggest way bandwagon", read this http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_Sarah...4000_years_ago
Sounds pretty close to the truth to me.
Just like the "tea baggers" badge and other worthless drivel out there, lots of the factual news you pea brains believe in never happened.
I don't like Palin much either, but she is much more qualified and would be a much better president as compared to the gibbering idiot that we have now.
Obama may actually be smarter than her. I'll definitely say he is way more cunning. But intelligence is only useful if you have a little common sense behind it. Obama's is idealistic to the point of total religious devotion and is also clearly misguided horribly. None of his agenda or ideas are based on fact. It's all based on what intellectuals, who never do practical applications, think things should be. That to me is being a true idiot. Proven by actions not by shit made up by internet bloggers (who even said they made it up and the liberals still think its real. lol)
The direct quote from unbearablebobness.typepad.com is as follows:
"God made dinosaurs 4,000 years ago as ultimately flawed creatures, lizards of Satan really, so when they died and became petroleum products we, made in his perfect image, could use them in our pickup trucks, snow machines and fishing boats. Now, as to the ANWR, Todd and I often enjoying caribou hunting and one year we shot up a herd big time, I mean I personally slaughtered around 40 of them with my new, at the time, custom Austrian hunting rifle. And guess what? That caribou herd is still around and even bigger than ever. Caribou herds actually need culling, be it by rifles or wolves, or Exxon-Mobil oil rigs, they do just great!"
The post concludes with the following disclaimer:

I had some hope this past election. I really thought it was time that patriotic politicians would put down in writing what their ideas were for dealing with the issues; ink that would survive even if the writer was not elected. That is what a patriot does. He/She shares their ideas, putting them out there for discussion, and encourages debate for the betterment of the country.
Yesterday the Democrats made it official that they will lock out all Republican representation in the final version of their healthcare reform legislation...
That is enough for me to re-register as a Republican again and lobby against my taxes going toward any partisan program my voice was actively blocked from shaping. But that'd be ideal; paying only for what I'm party to. The law that is needed, the one that truly checks and balances the legislature, is the one we will never get; term limits.
I wish the career politician had died with Ted Kennedy; the worst, most egregious offender in the Congress. Barring the conservatives from a reasoned debate, railroading new taxes and health laws into only most of the community that needs it, and taxing the ones with sense enough to have assumed the responsibility of insuring their own health... yeah, that's exactly what ol' Teddy would have wanted.- Sco

I won't vote for Palin entirely because she hasn't shown any ability to lead a state or country, just act like an idiot and "oh woe is me from lil' ol' alaska."
I'm also not voting for Obama again. I'll happily admit that was a poor decision on my part. Considering how much he's screwed up my country....yea he's not getting my vote unless things seriously improve between now and 2012.
Here's hoping the Republican challenger for 2012 isn't a bigoted fundamentalist/religious-pandering warmongering idiot (unlikely). Even if they are, I'm willing to bet they won't be as bad as Obama or Bush have been.

Let me be clear: the issues I have with this woman are things like that she believes prayer can help get pipelines built and that the war in Iraq is a "task that is from God". And she has argued for teaching Creationism alongside evolution. I remember the newpaper article with quotes from her saying she can get the roads paved, etc, etc, but it won't matter unless Alaskans get their hearts right with God.
Also, she's an Evangelical. That ends it for me right there. Evangelicals aren't insterested in YOUR views because God talks to them and tells them what to do. Normally when people claim to hear voices and illicit instructions we treat them for mental illness. They believe in a coming Apocalypse where Jesus will return and reign for a thousand years. Pure mental illness.
blunt: if what she's done looks successful to you....well.....ask yourself if she'd gotten anywhere near where she is if she wasn't cute. She's cute and likes to hunt. Men in Alaska love that shit.

democrats andf liberals are scared to death of palin cause she resonates with middle america. if she wasn't such a big threat, they'd ignore her.
and anyone who still believes obama has the credentials to lead this great nation should be ashamed. the man is clearly in over his head and is the biggest partisan hack to ever be potus.
the fucker looked america in the eye and flat out lied to get elected, which is more than enough for me to never trust him on anything ever again“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

So, if I sum things up for you, you hate her because she is religious. So much for tolerance. I bet if she were Muslim, you'd be OK with it. I bet if she supported state funded abortions and supported same sex marriage, but had all the rest of her political convictions exactly the same, that you'd think she was a bang-up good candidate for president. Don't be so shallow.
By the way, her view of creationism is that science is right about the timeline. They just attribute the creation of things to God. They extrapolate that the 7 Days in the bible was just a way of marking stages and that each "day" could have been millions of years. People like her don't pretend to know how god did things, they just believe he did.
The liberals and democrats hate her because she is religious and she is a successful person who also happens to be a devoted mother. That contradicts everything that liberals stand for. In the views of the liberal elite, any successful woman should be a man hating vegan with lesbian tendencies who thinks that christians are a bigger threat to the world than radical islamists and that the reason for the worlds problems falls squarely on corporate America, US Imperialism, and US slavery.1987 E30 325is

... but to those who assume that Obama has screwed up the nation by be a tree-hugging liberal, consider:
1. The bank bailout started with GWB, and was continued by Obama. However, under Obama, unemployment continued to increase but Wall Street stabilized (and arguably grew, if you believe that the 10,000 pt Dow average is more than optimism).
2. The war in Afghanistan... the "War on Terror" is 30,000 troops stronger than it was under the Bush administration, and the US is posturing to deliver a smackdown on Yemen.
3. Obama has broken his campaign promise to the "Gay America" to give them equal rights in marriage. California been part of a movement of states that have voted against gay marriage rights acts that were passed earlier in the 2000's.
4. The sustainable energy movement has received more tax support from Obama, but still remains a quaint idea, whereas Bush's sustainable energy program in Texas (est. 1998/1999 as governor) leads the nation in job production and % of energy budget vs. fossil fuel over any other state.
5. While two clauses of the Patriot Act have expired, Obama has signed to extend the existing domestic surveillance, and expanded it to include a "lone wolf" clause, which gives government a right to pursue suspect terrorists with no affiliation to larger groups.
... This isn't to say that Obama has been good or bad. My point is the, while Republicans are furious with Obama, you must consider that he actually isn't very different from Bush. He isn't anything like the radical liberal that the media adores him/hates him for being.
