This, something on the order of 80% of the New construction in the valley in the last 5 years sits empty for all but 2 weeks a year. Most of you guys dont get that the towns, or small cities you live in have more people in them than the entire state of MT. It takes me 8 hours to get to Billings, 3 to Missoula, 5 to spokane, 14 to Seattle or Portland. This is the middle of no where ville most of you guys would hate it and would be board to tears and want to leave in less than 3 weeks. Hence why all the houses sit empty all year other than the 2 week vacations

It does suck, because it's where you have lived all your life. However, I would maybe try to see the positive in it, sell for I-don't-know-how-many-million dollars and then go live the rest of your life in a beach in Mexico somewhere.
The man in that article is 70, he should be buying a Corvette and doing what he was unable to when he was younger, he has 10-15 more years, tops.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

I say torch some empty neighborhoods. You have 50 open weeks to get away with it.

A Corvette is not an excuse for losing your home due to tax hikes in rural places. Think how much of his heart and soul is in the home he is gonna lose. You can't buy that back.

Excellent use of factual non-sequitor information to prove your illogical hypothesis.

Not what I meant. There's a reason these people are fleeing CA. The poor reproduce too rapidly. This shit is going to turn into idiocracy. We are already having problems....fruit costs more than fast food. Gatorade costs as much as water. Want to talk about healthcare issues? Blame overpopulation.

WOW...that rather sucks. To suddenly not be able to afford to live in your own home. The people that have spent their whole life there being run out. It's terrible. I feel bad for them.

I guess if you feel that way then you are completely right. I happen to not have many attachment feelings towards stuff like that.

                            I drive a BMW, therefore, I am a prick.

I'm going to ignore you're obviously idiotic declarations about fruit and Gatordade. Didn't realize I could buy 5000 gallons of Gatorade delivered to my house for around $20 a month, where do I sign up?

But how does taxing poor people apply in this situation?
