Property is not selling in the valley right now at all. Still way too high, well there are some homes selling.

My neighbors to the north a few miles are selling off the family ranch that was homsteded in the late 1890's and has been in the family till now. Its for sale, the taxes I hear went up by more than him, his wife, and oldest sons income + the ranch profits combined.

And you can blame overpopulation on Healthcare. Look what the world's ability to care for people medically has done to the average death age of seniors now.

Remember when the Golden Girls looked old in the 80's? They were only 50 y/o's and now there are some 60 y/o women that are still taxable. we are living too long, thus the root of too many people.

But how does taxing poor people apply in this situation?
An additional tax on the 3rd child or later. This should apply to anyone. No one should be rewarded for reproducing (ie tax breaks per child).

Are you really going to argue that it's easier and faster to eat healthy? Because it's not. It's really difficult.

Other way around. People are having greater health issues because of the poor quality of food available. We're stringing them along with advanced healthcare - but at what cost?

THAT'S THE PROBLEM OF IT ALL!

I am not against the idea behind population control, but the actual implementation of it all is a completely different animal. How do you decide who is worthy? Who should be sterilized? Do you just gas people and burn them like Hitler did? It's a fucking paradox.

What's wrong with my idea? Heavy taxes on anyone who produces more than 2 children.

Not even close to what you said. You said that fruit is more expensive then fast food.

The girlfriend and I cook almost exclusively at home, I bring my lunch to work with me, we cook dinner at home.

OMG we haz 2 doo teh dizhez!!!!!!!

We made a pot of chicken chili this weekend that fed both of us 3 times, for less $10. How is that so expensive? 6 meals for $10?

For what it costs two people to go to Arby's, we stay at home and make grilled buffalo burgers with organic jalapeno cheese, butternut squash homefries and salad with homemade dressing. And have change left over.

Because you, or anyone else, is too lazy to stay at home and cook is not my problem or THE problem.

                      2 apples - $1.25
                      Double cheeseburger - $.99

Which is more filling? The burger.

I cook at home too - but it takes a lot of work. Why is fast food popular if cooking healthy at home is so cheap and easy? (not a rhetorical question)

where do you buy your apples? I pull them off my tree for free. It can be done, like z31 said, it's not my fault people can't make a real meal, and buy from what is available at the store intellegently as opposed to buying Ho-Ho's and SunnyDelight.

Oh, great. I mention population control and I'm Hitler and Mao Zedong.

Do you guys really think there's not an overpopulation problem?

Jesus - it's not our fault but it's clearly our problem. Do you disagree?
