This is why Australian e30s get bad rep :(

It's a damn shame that more and more, I come across ads like THIS

It seems like the older (and cheaper) these cars get down here, the more retarded buyers become. There are so many things painfully wrong with this, I don't even know where to begin..

But the one thing that really pisses me off is the hacked up mtech 1 valence, missing all the appropriate trim, and being sold as "a real "M3" front spoiler and driving lights (FACTORY!)"
How they managed to get it on with the chrome on the outside baffles me? ?

Here are some of the sellers other excellent sales pitches:
"sports more than the average Cabriolet you'll ever find anywhere, Yep anywhere!"
    "stunning"
"1.8tlr efi engine with responsive auto, and sports exhaust (new) make you know there's performance below you, that you can feel."
"and making a sled on the bitumen!"
    "You will be noticed!!!!"

    ^Well thank god!

And dont get all soft because it's a baur, these are very common, and very unsought after down here

It just pisses me off that now days whe I search "e30" I get a thousand companys selling slotted rotors and ebay mufflers, seatbelt pads and all that shit. Then the few used parts or cars that pop up are complete rubbish.
I miss the days where a search in ebay.com.au for "e30" would return 100 results and they would all be interesting 2nd hand parts.

I understand what you're saying, but I don't see much wrong with that e30 that can't be easily fixed. Where exactly is the valence hacked up? It looks perfectly fine to me. Also, the seats, wheels and exhaust are just bolt-ons. Oh and Baur's are fucking gross.

The chrome on the underside of the bumper is supposed to behind the valence. For the mtech1 to be behind the chrome it has to have either been badly bent, or cut. Definatley not factory.

but then again, when you do see a good example of an E30 or any BMW in Australia its so awsome. Its seems to be the case with BMW's here, people think just coz they have one they must put chrome on it. Also if they put a mod or any aftermarket part on it it autmatically becomes a M3.

QFT! I rarely look through ebay now, waaay too much crap to siphon through. There should be an option in the preferences somewhere to turn off search results from certain sellers, that would make trawling the bay much easier! haha

I know aye, but I think e36's are far worse than e30's for the second hand bling factor. Almost every second e36 I see for sale has giant chromies and/or a flame paint job with M3 spoilers.

Ive seen a black 318i driving around where i live and its got those 18'' rodney jane chrome wheels on it and theres some fat bitch driving inside it with those pink seat covers which says princess on it.

apart from the wheels and bitch driving it, it seems heaps clean.

              i know how you feel.

                not true at all.

on the rear yeah- on the front NO.

I also don't see that much wrong with that car either?

I completely concur with this thread. A+++ will read again. Too many illiterate, inbred, half-a-haircut-sporting ballsacks buy old Euro cars out here and then butcher them.

However, many of the Euro fanboiz are just as bad (in their own way). I have no love for Aussie Euro-centric car clubs as they're either full of pole-smoking ricers/sick yulleh "cruisers", or overrun with Eurosnob dickheads.

Lol yeh it is very depressing! I can't stand those cheap ebay clear taillights they are gross yet i see them every where.

It makes me wonder how they afford them because unless you know where to look the E30 can be expensive.

A good example was when my fan clutch went I got quoted $490 from Adelaide Motors, $200 from a wreckers in Queensland and $69 from Pelican Parts.

I now buy all my parts from Pelican Parts it always works out a shit load cheaper.

That's my boys it's a legit bbs m3 body kit. And I can vouch for the sport exhaust only available through BMW. Granted I don't think the head lights and tail lights are the latest. There's some newer ones on ebay right now.
