If she wants a turbo bug, let her.....but make her pay for maintenance. Corolla/Scoob/Honda are winners for low cost reliable transportation, except subarus would be fun for when you'd drive it. Food for thought.

I picked up a mk4 Jetta with 146k, its now at 167k. I drive that car for all its worth around the hills here, and have only put oil and pads on it. That said I have gotten a few CELs with it, one time it was a 30 cent vacuum hose got a hole in it, the last time the scanner said it was a speed sensor. It cleared itself and the peedo worked fine at the time and has since.Comment
