The Olympics is a gas. Vancouver is lit on fire. Canada still has a chance at gold in hockey and we better make the most of it. Hard not to be a proud Canadain these days.

Yes, it was only the prelims. And Canada probably will still win gold (or Russia). But it was a great game and Canada is heavily favored, to say the least. The whole arena was in red.
The U.S. is one of the underdogs in these olympics (along with Slovakia and the Czech Republic) and it was good to see them win.
That being said, I don't think they should have NHL players in the olympics. They should go back to having just college kids like the old days. The game was intense, but I don't think the desperation was quite there.Comment

Yeah I suppose. I was thinking more of Brodeur, maybe he just had an off game. It seemed like he kind of gave up. I did love the wild goal celebrations for Team USA though, it's like each goal was a surprise for them. It was refreshing.

Well they can't exactly lose at the ones they do give two shits about, considering their football and baseball leagues are practically 100% American to begin with.
