Actually Lacrosse is our national sport.. crazy I know but its true.

Without Miller the US would have been knocked out long ago. One thing I will say Burke really knows how to put a team together, always has.

Same thing happened in the US, going into Salt Lake you guys poured money into your sport programs, "in a so-called own the podium plan" and these are the results of that large cash influx.

Lets see what Canada can do in the next two winter Olympics, when we should be seeing the results of our "own the podium" plan.

On the plus side, the games have turned the entire Vancouver downtown into one giant party, so thats sweet.

Last night, women bobsleigh was won by Canada (gold and silver) leaving consolation bronze to our American friends, and that tonight, the US women hockey team had their dildos shovelled up their ass by the Canadian team. 2 to 0.

Suck it up USA. You're still the nicest darn kids on the South of our borders. ;-)

In Torino Germany got more medals. But they have a smaller population then usa.

In Salt lake Germany won with more medals.

In nagano Germany won with more medals.

Lillehammer 1994 olympics saw Norway leading.

This is the first Olympics ever I think(without looking back) we have lead in medal count. So your example of us having more medals for a higher population makes no sense. The reason we are excelling this year is we have a phenominal ski team along with speed skating and Shaun White. The reason Germany is doing well is they dominate in sliding sports (luge. bobsleigh. etc)
