Perhaps I was just annoyed when I read his post. I don't think anyone tries to compare their e30 to a bentley, that was my point.

    My b.

    Were? No, they still are.

All of them, even the last of the '87s, all RWD.

None of them came with the Cadillac 500 cubic inch motor though:

IMO this is sillier than putting a Nissan motor in a BMW.

I usually drive 1mph faster than them, just so I can pass them, and they can't/won't waste time doing anything about it.

    Single lane road i guess.
2002 is a different story because theyre all gone. Its dwiddled down to enthusiast cars only, thats where the respect comes from. To some people its amazing in itself that a car that old still drives. It hasnt gone there with e30's yet. Because when I drive by another e30, 9/10 its a beater, (i mean really beat down) and they're obviously not passionate about cars.

The northeast seemed a little different in comparison to south FL in that respect. Down here there are very few cars older than 1999 on the road, 99% of people are robotic in the sense-they just lease/buy new and drive. Even though the used car market is huge now, the majority being sold used is under 10 years old. And with no inspection and car friendly weather Im still trying to figure out why that is. lol.. 80's cars were so much better :p
