Nope, the GOVERNMENT should have never used the Country's money to bail out a failing business. People expect the government to be the "be all end all". Its clearly stated in 4 pages what the government's role is for its people. Many today wipe their ass with that paper and "THAT" is what is wrong with America today!
I fully agree, if it was a reasonable loan like was done in the 80's for Chrysler, I could be ok with it. What they got was a unrepayable in full, dont like it one bit and, I am a big big GM guy, and it pains me to think of my next truck being a ford, but thats who will get my money till GM is outta debt with the govt. That will never happen in my life time.

the original c4 zr1 had a Lotus designed and built by Mercury Marine 32v DOHC 350 in it. LT5 made 375hp 91 92 93 and 405hp 94 95 96. Had a odd bore and stroke combo too.
this is a little out dated but ought to get point across that all the auto makes are in bed with each other.

Your point does not count. They were independent entities until they were bought up. Being part of a World Corporation does not make them American if said corporation is based in the US of A.

Those cars were so sweet for their day! Expenive, though. They had a "valet-setting" on the car, that would limit the output to 250bhp
