    My comapre and contrast essay

    I have to write a compare and contrast essay for my english class. Ive decided to compare and contrast the E30 community to the ricer/jap import community. I post this to get some info of how they are alike and different.

              well in this area unless it comes boosted and they build it most Asian cats just build the shit out of their 200whp N/A cars and call it a day

                  compare Ranch to Blue Cheese dressing, or Honey Mustard to Grey Poupon to Regular, it would have more relevance to the world.

                      not around here they are all lame and complain about traction, but think its JDM to run 5 inch wheel studs on 18" rota's



                      i cant stand muscle car guys...i really cant deal with the "hahaha mine does a 11sec et...so what if it wont turn" "let me put down my coors light and my cousin and well go out back and settle this" that is all that i can think of when i hear muscle car or rat motor or American muscle

                        From my oservations, the E30 group mainly does motor upgrades just by shoving a newer BMW motor in their car, M50, S52, etc and the Ricers spend mega baux on turbos, intercoolers, nos, and gay ass looking body kits, and poor ricers resort to "autozone, powered", or sticker pwr'd cars that have unpainted, poorly fitted body kits, and the obligatory tuner can muffler. as well as the subs in the trunk. The E30 guys, mainly stick to mtech body parts, front bumper tucks, IS lips, and bbs wheels. ricers usually are always looking to street race, compared to E30 people who just cruise the strip in groups, then stop somewhere to take bunches of pics of their cars, in rows, in circles, hoods open hoods closed, etc ricer people get overnight parts from japan, E30 peeps scavenge junk yards and hoard IS lips. Ricers rev to 7-8K every shift, ( every ricer car i see burns oil because of this) while E30 people cant rev to 7k every time because their M20's will take a shit because the average E30 has 150K+ miles on the motor. This is kinda what ive gathered by myself, am i wrong here?

                            meh. depends on where you are and who built the car. I hated honda's for the longest time but seeing some of the local guy's cars changed that. "Done right" is about what it comes down to. Local guy just sold a honda that was OEM outside minus the drop. The engine was built to the balls then got boosted and a 100 shot. Same with the e30 guys. Most of us are broke so spending the money to swap in a DOHC is the limit for our 20+ year old shit box. lol. But again there are some really sick built to shit e30s out there to. Thats what makes your topic so hard.
