If you want to stay car related, perhaps compare and contrast actual automakers, ie: Japan vs American vs European, by looking at what values each manufacturer has held throughout their history and how they have adapted to stay competitive. This could include discussions about technology, racing heritage, cultures, economic factors, etc. If you want to talk about the modding community in general, perhaps you should explore not how one may be better than the other but how certain technologies or design factors employed by manufactures have affected popular modding trends.

Your comparison is flawed. What you should do is compare the Euro world to the Japanese Import world. Comparing one car to thousands of others is a bit silly.
