Porsche 918 Hybrid Concept

It's a parallel hybrid with both a 500-horsepower V8 and a pair of electric motors adding another 218 hp. That's enough power to launch this Carrera GT-like supercar from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds as it charges on to a 198 mph top end. The best part about it is that Porsche says it can also return 78 miles per gallon while emitting just 70 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer.

Both the P car and the Ferrari are sick, anyone one who wants to drop $$$ for them is smart. Even if these cars fail, they'll be worth tons of money in the future.

That looks really awesome, finally porsche is bringing back the carrera GT but this time with electric motors. The lines look really good, and I love the side exhaust pipes. It should be AWD though with a variant of the R8 AWD just with three torsen diffs, that v8 and four hub mounted, water cooled electric motors.

I think they have the wheels designed like that because they want better cooling on the motors because I am assuming they are not watercooled, although if they are that would be cool.
