O rly? I was born and lived 8 years in california. Most of my family lives in LA and my Grandma lives outside of Sacramento, not all that far from Frisco. I visit every year. I've been there and it's lhd paradise.

That is not what he said.

People spend Billions of dollars and hours researching this stuff and the end of times. All you need to do read is Revelations. Yes the Bible.

He is implying that the end of the world stuff, in his opinion, can be better understood by what the bible foretells will happen. Instead, of the research and TV shows and shit about 2012 and the like.

I think you assumed he meant instead of using Science, the bible answers everything, and to some people it does. That is not what he was saying, and it's not our duty to tell those people that think that that they are wrong because we believe otherwise.
