I just mentioned that I would high five the kid. I was astounded at how sideways these women in her class went off about how damaged the child was now. I still think they are the idiots. It's bad yes, we cannot have teachers fucking our kids, but I doubt this kid is going to kill himself later in life.

I see it the same way. That kid is now equipped with one of the best life stories possible.
