the just laid off 97 DMV workers in AZ a few months back. they have a big push to do everything online.
the scottsdale and tempe offices are pretty easy and quick, most of the time. can't say the same for the central of WESTSIIIIIIDE ones though.

nj dmv used to suck but they rock now.. took me under 10m to get title and tags for a car and a trailer a few weeks ago. oh and we pay 7% sales tax on the value we declare, not blue book. not that i would ever understate a price i purchased a vehicle for in order to pay less sales tax :)

I just about went postal at the DMV today. Trying to get a junk slip for a car so I can legally get rid of it but I was told that I will not ever get the junk slip for this car in CA because it doesn't follow their retarded chain of events. Her suggestion was to call it in to the county abatement program that is responsible for getting rid of abandoned vehicles. Great solution, make the tax payers foot the bill for getting rid of my car because DMV is so ass backwards I can't get the proper paperwork to send a rusty, stripped pile of shit to the crusher myself.
